Flower & Produce Show Report

A sunny August Bank Holiday saw a stunning collection of locally grown flowers, fruit and vegetables on display at the Football Club for this year’s annual Flower & Produce Show.

This was not just a competition for gardeners, all kinds of creativity was celebrated; culinary excellence in terms of cakes and preserves, photography, craft and woodwork:

There was also a great line-up of scarecrows:

There were around 200 entries into the 38 classes and a further 24 local school children exhibited their artwork. Winners from left to right: James Harris, Amber Grimmett, Tallulah Moorhouse, Maria.

The show would not happen without the generous support of our sponsors. So warm thanks go to the Norfolk Estate, Arundel Town Council, Arundel Football Club, Betulas Antiques, Gaskyns and Pallant of Arundel. Thanks also go to the supporters of the tombola: Juniper and Rosemary Doyle.
